Here are some of my favourite bridal bouquets and wedding floral arrangements of the past little while:
These were from an October wedding, and I LOVED all of the fall colours and the variety of textures and shapes - all day I just never got sick of looking at them!
The plum and lilac hues in these bridesmaid bouquets were stunning with the pale blue of their dresses..
Putting the bouquets in vases to decorate a long head table like this is an easy way to bring your colours into the reception hall, and looks great in the photos.
I loved the bold use of colour in both these bouquets (one for August and one for October). With so much black and white for the bride and groom, I think it's the perfect way to add impact and "flavour" to your look.
This florist was amazing! She actually decorated the whole reception hall with this foresty-type feel, but what I really loved was that the groom also got to have a unique bit of floral art that tied in fantastically with the bouquets.
This bouquet was all about texture - you just wanted to feel it for yourself! It played nicely off the green bridesmaids' dresses as well.
What I loved about this bride is that she actually went to the farmers market the morning of her wedding to pick out these lovely field flowers, and bundled them in burlap to make bouquets for herself and her sister/maid of honour. Then they filled many many old glass milk bottles and jars with the same types of flowers to group together as the centerpieces on the tables.
Whatever your colours and theme, your flowers are a great opportunity to have fun, add personality and really make it a beautiful day :)
