Amanda + Nick's Cozy Winter Engagement Session

Not too long ago, we spent a lovely afternoon photographing Amanda & Nick's engagement session. Luck was on our side and we actually had some very picturesque snow (rare for this winter so far!) which added to the cozy-winter-snuggles feel of the shoot that day :) 

I absolutely love this first image..

For those of you who don't already know this - (surprise!) - Amanda & Nick are moving to Hawaii at the end of the month. What could be more perfect for their snowy engagement shoot than a grass skirt and some tropically colourful accessories?

 These two were so much fun, and were up for every crazy idea we threw at them (including twirling while letting us shoot a short filming test on the Super 8!).. I'm really looking forward to their wedding in March, which I'm sure will be an amazing celebration :) 

The craziest part of the day (twirling aside) was when Nick and I realized we went to the same high school.. what a small world :)

Nathalie + Rich - Gorgeous Maternity Session

I first met Nathalie when she and Rich started dating, and she became my first ever client-who-turned-into-a-good-friend :) That was over a decade ago now, and lots has happened. They had a beautiful fall wedding almost 6 years ago (which I had the honour of photographing), they bought a house, and now... they're having a baby! We got together this past weekend to capture this exciting time for them :)

 Something I've always loved about Nathalie + Rich is how sweet they are together - how kissy and cuddly and fun and giggly..

I'm so in love with this last shot! 

Not only did we have a great time shooting this maternity session, but we then met up a couple of hours later to go see Ghostbusters in Riverdale Park! It was such a great evening, and we can't wait to meet and photograph Nathalie + Rich's tiny newborn in a couple of months :)

Cheryl & Jonny - April 16th, 2011

This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Cheryl & Jonny's wedding, and we wanted to share some of our favourite images from the day. The ceremony and lunch reception took place at Jamie Kennedy at The Gardiner Museum - a seriously classy venue (and the food was amazing!)...afterwards we headed over to U of T with the newlyweds to capture some lovely architecture as a backdrop to the images of the bride and groom..
